Three youngsters join the Clarets

The signing of Durham based central defender Jack Errington was confirmed some weeks ago when he captained Durham schoolboys in the county final at Turf Moor against Lancs, scoring the winning spot kick in a penalty shoot out. He's also from Wallsend Boys Club, a club that has given us players such as Ray Hankin and Brian Laws in the past.

Jack is joined by fellow defender Luke Conlan and striker Jason Gilchrist who have arrived from Northern Ireland and Manchester City respectively.

Luke is a left sided defender and is a Northern Ireland schoolboy international whilst Jason moves to Turf Moor after being released by Manchester City.

It's the smallest intake for some years and they will join the existing youth squad plus Dean Overson, James Taylor and Tommy Taylor who have been granted an extended stay due to injuries.

The full youth squad can be found in the CURRENT SQUAD, listed below the first team and develpment squads.
