Tomorrow should have seen us play our first home game of the season against Oldham Athletic at Accrington, but, with the pitch undergoing emergeny work, it has been switched to Oldham's home game and will be played at Stalybridge Celtic.
That left just two remaining games at Accrington, but with Burnley's new pitch just about ready it has now been confirmed that all of the home games will be at Turf Moor.
This is superb news for the supporters who can now see the young up and coming players at Turf Moor, and it is also excellent news for those players who get the chance to play on a regular basis on the club's home ground.
The first game to be played at home this season will be on 7th September when we host Accrington Stanley who have been negotiating recently regarding playing their home reserve games at Ramsbottom United.
