Only one Alliance game beat the weather

Walsall won it 4-0 and thus swapped places with the Shrews in the table. It was a case of postponements elsewhere as the overnight frost took its toll on the fixtures.

Burnley were due to have played Accrington in a game transferred to Gawthorpe, but this week we travel to play a Blackpool side who will be looking to get back to winning ways having lost their place at the top of the table.
