Goalkeeper Woodhead back for youth team

Last updated : 25 February 2011 By Tony Scholes
He's had a difficult time with injury and was ruled out for virtually the whole of last season in what should have been his first year as an apprentice.

He returned at the beginning of this season and he's one of two goalkeepers in the squad alongside Josh Cook.

As the more experienced of the two he was also involved with the reserve team until he suffered another serious knee injury in the youth team's 3-1 win at Carlisle in mid-October.

That injury saw him out for over four months, but he's back tomorrow as they look to push ever closer to the top of the league and he's been named in the following team: Ben Woodhead, Ed Williams, Alex Coleman, Tom Anderson, Dean Overson, Ross Wilson, Dave Lynch, Steven Hewitt, Archie Love, Mehdi Lazaar, Joe Jackson. Subs: Curtis Woods, Shay McCartan, Tommy Taylor, Adam Evans, James Taylor.

Kick off tomorrow is 11:00 a.m.
