Clarets face Wigan test in Alliance

Wigan are currently in eighth place in the table. They are eight points behind us but do have three games in hand so a home victory tomorrow would push them right in the running for one of the top places.

We sit ahead of Rochdale on goal difference. They are away to Stockport tomorrow. Port Vale are two points behind with a game in hand and they face a home game against Oldham.

Burnley are the form team in the league with only one defeat in the last 13 games, that coming away to Rochdale back in November.

Since then, although we've gone out of cup competitions, we've won four and drawn two of our six league games.

Tomorrow's fixture list is

Macclesfield v Morecambe
Port Vale v Oldham
Shrewsbury v Preston
Stockport v Rochdale
Tranmere v Accrington
Walsall v Blackpool
Wigan v Burnley
Wrexham v Bury
