Anderson and Gilchrist back for Clarets

Tom Anderson is back in the centre of defence

Anderson was rested last week for the cup tie against Preston, spending the entire game on the touchline as one of the subs. Gilchrist too was on the bench but did get on the pitch for the last twenty minutes for Alex Mullin.

Alex Coleman played in the reserve game on Tuesday and so is rested with Anderson returning to partner Jack Errington in the centre of defence whilst Gilchrist comes in with Steven Hewitt joining Coleman on the bench.

We currently sit second in the table, behind Carlisle on goal difference. Carlisle are without a game so a result would see us go above them whilst a win would see us remain clear of Walsall should they win, as expected, at Wrexham.

Burnley go into the game on the back of a run of seven successive wins, six of them in the league, but will recall losing at Bury 4-2 back in September which was the second of three successive defeats prior to this good run. Archie Love and Alex Mullin, both in action tomorrow, were the Burnley goalscorers.

Following this game, there has been a fixture change. We should have been at home to Carlisle next Saturday but, because of the first team game, it has now been moved to Saturday 4th February.

Kick off tomorrow morning at Gawthorpe is 11:00 a.m.

Burnley will line up: Josh Cook, Jack Errington, Tom Anderson, Luke Conlan, Adam Evans, Alex Mullin, Archie Love, Cameron Howieson, Shay McCartan, Jason Gilchrist. Subs: Callum Jakovlevs, Alex Coleman, Steven Hewitt, James Taylor.
