Win a copy of Underdog by Tim Quelch

Last updated : 18 November 2011 By Tony Scholes

The front cover of the book reads: "50 years of trials and triumph with football's also-rans", and that's exactly what it is as the author looks at his first 50 years as a football fan, starting with his first game which was Chelsea v Wolves game in August 1958 which came over 11 years before his first visit to Turf Moor.

It's a fantastic read and should you want to know more about the book you can read the REVIEW written for Clarets Mad by Dave Thomas.

To have a chance of winning a copy you need to answer the following three questions, all referred to in the book.

1. In which season did Northampton Town play in the First Division?

2. Who scored two goals in 1971 when Colchester United caused a major FA Cup upset?

3. When Burnley beat Leeds United 4-1 in 1974 who, other than Paul Fletcher, scored for Burnley?

Please EMAIL your answers to Clarets Mad, including your  name and postal address, by the closing date which is next Wednesday, 23rd November. A winning entry will be drawn at random.
