Welcome to Scunthorpe

A reminder of our last league visit to Scunthorpe

There are still three games to go but Scunthorpe's 2-0 win over Huddersfield on Saturday has ensured they will be playing their football in the second tier of English football next season for only the second time in their history.

The promotion has been achieved despite manager Brian Laws leaving in October to take over at Sheffield Wednesday, to be replaced by physio Nigel Adkins, and also despite them losing one of their two main strikers Andy Keogh, sold to Wolves in January.

But under Adkins the results have continue to come and striker Billy Sharp has continued to grab the headlines and score the goals. He got both on Saturday to take his tally in the league this season to 28 and that's nine more than any other player in the division.

That means we'll be travelling to Glanford Park again next season for a league game, and I'm sure we can all remember what happened the last time we went there in search of three points.
