Enough has been said and written about the performance, with very few shining lights, and I'd suggest probably it was only substitute Ross Wallace and goalkeeper Lee Grant who came out of the game with much credit.
Those two players shared the man of the match with 21% of the vote each whilst the only other player to get double figures was Zavon Hines who took third place with a 13.8% share.
Wallace was ahead of Grant when it came to the player ratings. He took first place with a rating of 7.11 out of 10 with Grant in second place having secured a 6.56 out of 10 rating. Third place this time was Marvin Bartley with just 5.67 out of 10.
From this game, Wallace has won six points towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Year with Grant getting five points. Bartley and Hines both won one point each.
Bartley's point takes doubles his lead at the top of the table to two but Grant and Wallace find themselves moving into challenging positions. Grant is now in third place, behind Bartley and Kieran Trippier, with Wallace now sixth.
Voting is currently underway following the home win over Blackpool. The number of votes cast has already gone way beyond the numbers for this game and it's the same for the player ratings.
