In fairness he's not caused us any real problems in those games but I think it is far to assume that we'll be lucky to come away from St. Mary's tomorrow without at least a couple of yellow cards.
If that happens it will take him into three figures for the season. In 38 games to date he has handed out 99 yellow cards and 8 red cards. Four of those red cards have come in recently in two games.
Back in March he sent off both Gary Doherty and Darel Russell of Norwich in their 1-0 defeat at Coventry and in his last match three days ago Jonathan Douglas (League One Leeds) and Jonathan Worthington (Huddersfield) were both dismissed as Huddersfield won 1-0. Of those yellow cards 32 of them have gone to home team players and 67 to away team players.
Taylor will be 49 in June and this is almost certain to be his last Burnley game.
His assistants tomorrow will be Stephen Child (Kent) and Andrew Sainsbury (Wiltshire) with Michael McCoy (Kent) on duty as fourth official.
