Pughy on the move
He's made 41 league appearances for the Shakers this season, with thirty of them starts, and has scored four goals in those games. It led to Bury offering him a longer deal but Pugh decided to keep his options open.
There's been all sorts of talk of him moving on to a bigger club but Shrewsbury boss Gary Peters is all set to offer him a deal that Bury won't be able to match and it is being suggested that Pughy could well be playing his football at their New Meadow Stadium next season.
Should he move on, Bury will be able to command a fee for him because of his age, Pugh was twenty earlier this month.
