The Clarets will play against a Bristol Rovers side who have just suffered relegation to League Two. It will be at the Memorial Ground on Tuesday 19th July with the game kicking off at 7:45 p.m.
It will be our first visit to the ground since August Bank Holiday Monday in 1999 when we lost 1-0 in a game that had 10 yellow cards and a red card and ended with the two managers, Ian Holloway and Stan Ternent seething at the performance of referee Keith Hill. A curious penalty decision provided the winner for the home side, converted by Jamie Cureton.
We can expect further news of games to be played in the South West.
