Former Clarets from Parkinson's time at Burnley were present including such as Marlon Beresford, Chris Brass, Roger Eli, David Eyres, Gerry Harrison, Jamie Hoyland, Liam Robinson and Peter Swan along with Jimmy Mullen, the manager who brought him to Turf Moor with both Eyres and Hoyland making short speeches.

Also amongst the guest list were Blackpool's Charlie Adam and from Preston both manager Phil Brown, a former Bolton team mate, and his assistant Brian Horton.

The entertainment was provided by our ukulele playing chief executive Paul Fletcher and Steve Kindon.

The dinner was guaranteed to raise a five figure sum based on ticket sales and sponsorship but the auction and raffle took it to £16,000.
