David Nugent
Nugent was not only a convincing winner in the man of the match poll but also took top place in the message board's player ratings in what was just his second game in Burnley colours.

He gave the Clarets the lead with a header from a superb Wade Elliott cross and then turned to hit a stunner into the top corner after the ball had been played in to him from the right by Tyrone Mears.

The creators of those two goals were the players closest to him in the man of the match vote but Nugent was the clear winner with 34.2% of that vote. Elliott, with 22.3% just took second place ahead of Mears who polled 22.2% of the vote.

It was Nugent on top again in the player ratings. He had a rating of 8.60 out of 10 and that was enough to keep him on top above Mears who came in second with a rating of 8.37. Mears' full back partner Stephen Jordan came in third with a rating of 7.97 out of 10.

Nugent gets six points towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Year, there are three points for Mears, two for Elliott and there is one point for Jordan.

These are Nugent's first points and he becomes the twelfth player to win points this season. Andre Bikey remains top but Mears has climbed into joint second place with these three points.
