Chris Brass - signed for Hyde United
Brassy has been at Gigg Lane for the past season and a half but was not offered a new deal at the end of last season although was invited back to pre-season training to prove his fitness. Only last week he was appointed as the new Centre of Excellence Manager at Bury, but next season will see him playing in the Blue Square North with Hyde United.

The Blue Square North is where Brad Maylett might have been playing his football with his club Boston having been relegated from the Football League and then immediately demoted another league because of their financial situation.

However, although he'll be playing non-league football for the first time in his career he will be in the Blue Square Premiership after clinching a move to Northwich Victoria. Maylett left Burnley for Swansea and it was from there he moved to Boston. Last season he had a loan spell with Chester City but was recalled by the Lincolnshire side as they fought against relegation, a fight that was lost on the final day of the season.
