Michael Keane still not for sale insists Burnley boss Sean Dyche

The 23-year-old has looked an assured presence in the opening weeks of the season, stepping up to Premier League level having been a key figure in last season's promotion push.

Defending champions Leicester made an overture for the former Manchester United youngster in the summer and, although the Clarets resisted talk of a £17million offer, his stock is only rising.

Keane has been tipped for England honours and Chelsea coach Antonio Conte has apparently joined a growing list of admirers.

After scoring in Monday's 2-0 win over Watford, the centre-half declared himself happy at the club and that will be music to his manager's ears.

"We've made it clear he's not for sale, among others who are not for sale, and he's still at the club so that's ongoing," said Dyche.

"There's a balance

It's a kind of respect in a way, that people recognise some of our players are doing well but there's also that little bit where you think 'we're not actively selling players'

We don't want to lose players.

"Situations can become unsettled but Keano's been really clear-minded throughout the summer."

Sunday, the day after Arsene Wenger celebrates his 20th anniversary as Gunners manager, brings Arsenal to Turf Moor

Dyche, who is coming up on a highly respectable fourth year in charge of Burnley, is one of many who revere the Frenchman for his longevity and questioned the Arsenal followers who have become impatient with his tenure.

"Arsene, for me, is one of the top managers without a shadow of a doubt," he said.

"Certainly through the Premier League years he's alongside Sir Alex (Ferguson) and people like that

A lot of respect goes out from me, as a young manager, looking at him and what he's done..

the way he puts a team together, the style, the manner.

"As managers we all understand the fan mentality, the thirst and desire to win and be successful but from a manager's point of view you have to scratch your head and wonder why he's questioned at times."

"I understand Arsenal are a big football club and their fans want actual success, actual trophies and the recognition that brings but for me he is one of the top managers without a doubt."
