Chris McCann
It was probably one of the most enjoyable goals of the season with McCann playing for the first time in competitive action in over 15 months.

He came in for the injured Dean Marney. Despite being brought off after an hour in the reserve game that week it was a big surprise to see him start. There is no doubt that Chris played well and capped the win with a superb strike from distance.

That goal was the clear winner of the last monthly vote, taking a 41.5% share. It was ahead of Wade Elliott's goal at home against Middlesbrough. It was his first league goal of the season and came second with a 22.6% share.

Jay Rodriguez had three goals in the poll and his strike against Cardiff, Burnley's last goal of the season, was the only other goal to reach double figures. with 16.5% of the vote.

The remaining goals in the poll were Chris Eagles 1st v Derby (5.6%), Wade Elliott v Derby (4.0%), Jay Rodriguez v Middlesbrough (3.6%), Jay Rodriguez v Ipswich and Chris Eagles v Portsmouth (both 2.8%) and Michael Duff v Middlesbrough (0.4%).

The top two goals have both made it into the poll for the Goal of the Season. That vote is underway and will run until the end of Thursday.
