The Clarets will be without a number of players for tomorrow's visit of Stockport but only one of those missing was in the squad last week.

Stan will have a number of options, he could start with Gareth Taylor and revert to a 4-4-2 formation and he also has the option of bringing back Paul Weller into the starting line up having been relegated to the bench last week at Preston.
There has been a reaction from fans this week about the inclusion of Graham Branch at left back but it was always clear that Stan wanted Branch as his left back. The whole pre-season build up was indicating that until he picked up the injury against Chelsea. He had been away from league football for over seven months when he came back recently and is still some way short of full fitness. I expect Stan to start with him tomorrow again.
Still out is Steve Davis and the nothing injury has now been extended to two months. There will be no sign of Steve now until into the New Year and looking at the fixtures I would suggest he is looking at getting a reserve team game with the first one of the New Year on 9th January.

As I have said Stan has a number of options and has also said that Dimitri Papadopoulos will at least be on the bench. I think it will be a subs place for Dimitri and I think the likely line up will be: Nik Michopoulos, Dean West, Ian Cox, Arthur Gnohere, Graham Branch, Glen Little, Kevin Ball, Lee Briscoe, Alan Moore, Ian Moore, Gareth Taylor. Subs from: Luigi Cennamo, Paul Weller, Dimitri Papadopoulos, Brad Maylett, Gordon Armstrong, Tony Ellis and Mark McGregor.
There have been changes at Stockport over the past 24 hours with one player in and one player out. Yesterday they signed striker Luke Beckett from Chesterfield for £100,000 and today Glynn Hurst has gone to Chesterfield on a free transfer.
So Beckett and Kuqi are expected to be the two strikers in the starting line up of a Stockport side that is without just one player through injury, left-back Peter Clark.
