Keane has been adding goals to his performances in central defence, and again last week at Ashton Gate he was in outstanding form at the back whilst also scoring our second goal in the 2-1 win against Bristol City.
Again he's won the man of the match vote and the player ratings, and again, as in the previous week's game against Brentford, he's won both comfortably.
He polled 59.2% of the man of the match vote with goalkeeper Tom Heaton just beating Ben Mee into second place. Heaton won 11.7% of the vote with Mee, who scored the first goal, just behind with 10.8%. Fourth place was secured by Michael Duff with a 6.1% share.
In the player ratings, Keane became the first player to reach an eight this season; his 8.50 out of 10 out in front of the same two players as in the vote. Heaton was again second with 7.83 and Mee behind him with a rating of 7.67. New signing and debutant Andre Gray took fourth place with a rating of 7.33 out of 10.
Keane has again won the maximum ten points with Heaton getting six points, four points for Mee and both Duff and Gray picking up one point.
That's left Keane with a 12 point lead at the top of the Clarets Mad Player of the Year Table which is now also the final Player of the Month Table for August. Defenders really have been on top so far. Tendayi Darikwa ended the month in second place and he was followed by Heaton, Duff and then Mee.
