Ings joins the Burnley internationals

Heaton has been on the bench now for England's last six internationals but for Ings it was a first. He was in the squad for these two latest games but missed the first one through injury.

His moment came in the 59th minute when he came on for Harry Kane in the 3-0 win against Lithuania in Vilnius as England ended the qualifying campaign with a 100 per cent record.

Will it mean we might get more money from the tribunal for him? That I don't know, but it can't do any harm. But of far more importance than that is the superb news that he's involved now at international level and could just land himself a place in the squad for France next summer.

Congratulations to him on his first cap from Clarets Mad.

Former loan player John Guidetti won his fourth cap tonight for Sweden in a 2-0 win against Moldova. For Guidetti it was a first ever start at full international level.

Danny Ings has now been added to the Internationals feature with Guidetti's latest cap added. It can be found within the Players drop down menu.
