Grezza voted top player in last league game

Graham Alexander
Earlier today we reported that he'd been named in the Football League Championship Team of the Week and we can no confirm that his performance was recognised by the fans.

He polled 46.1% of the vote for the man of the match and that was way ahead of Wade Elliott who was second with 15.3%. Chris Eagles came third with 13.8% of the vote.

It was Alexander again in the player ratings. He scored a rating of 8.72 out of 10 and that was ahead of Clarke Carlisle who took second place with a rating of 8.12. The third place was shared with both Elliott and Christian Kalvenes recording a rating of 7.88 out of 10.

Alexander wins the maximum six points in the Player of the Year Table. There are three points for Elliott, two for Carlisle with both Eagles and Kalvenes winning one point each.

Only goalkeeper Brian Jensen can stop Robbie Blake from winning the Clarets Mad Player of the Year, but it would be a tall order with Robbie currently 16 points clear at the top of the table.
