Grezza on Morecambe list

The immediate speculation as they look for their first new manager since being promoted into the Football League has linked them with a move for Clarets' club captain Graham Alexander.

Grezza is apparently joint favourite with their own club captain Jim Bentley for the job but it does seem an unlikely one for someone who has insisted that he wants to carry on playing.

There's a coaching position at Burnley for him but should he decide to leave Turf Moor it will almost certainly be to play football. Grezza has not started a game for the Clarets since the home draw with QPR on 16th January, the last game Stuart Gray was in charge of the team.

It wouldn't be a surprise to see him leave this summer, and already a return to Preston (where he used to play in white) has been suggested in some circles. I'm sure he sees himself going into management in the future but it would be a surprise if he decided to make that move now.
