Wallace was, without doubt, our best outfield player on the day and he added to that performance with our only goal, his fourth in the last four league games, doubling is Burnley tally in the process.
He was the clear winner in the man of the match vote with a 33.8% share and that was ahead of goalkeeper Grant who was in outstanding form, particularly in the opening half hour as he kept the Clarets in the game.
Grant won 21.0% of the vote whilst midfielder Marvin Bartley, who turned in another industrious display in the midfield, came third with 14.6% of the vote.
We had the same top two in the player ratings, but this time the other way round. Grant was the winner with a rating of 6.91 out of 10, ahead of Wallace whose rating was 6.82.
This time Charlie Austin took third place and his 6.00 out of 10 meant he was the only other player to score an average rating.
Those results give both Grant and Wallace five points each towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Year whilst both Austin and Bartley get one point.
Adding those points to the table have seen Grant now join Austin in second place, just four points behind leader Kieran Trippier. Meanwhile, Wallace, along with Kieran Trippier, is another four points below.
