He'd previously, in his part time capacity, worked as a coach and age group manager and now as part of his full time duties will organise development centres which will be used as feeder centres for the elite players in the younger age groups.
Super John joins a growing teams of ex-Clarets employed full time within the youth department. Martin Dobson is Director of Youth Development whilst Vince Overson is the Centre of Excellence Manager.
Alongside them are youth coaches Terry Pashley and Andy Farrell with Ash Hoskin the department's skills coach.
