It was not just Foy's last Turf Moor appearance but also Turner's and the then Hull defender will also be back tomorrow playing his second game for Sunderland.
Other than our first game in the Millennium, when he had a nightmare at Notts County, I can't recall too many problems at all with Chris Foy and he's had a quiet enough start to this season although he did upset a certain Sir Alex Ferguson over a penalty incident or two in the Community Shield.
That is one of five games for him this season, the other four have all been Premier League games. In those five games there have been 14 yellow cards. Four of them came in the Community Shield game. The rest have been equally divided with five to home players and five to away players. And the links with Turner continue, he is one of the five home bookings in Hull's 5-1 defeat against Spurs.
The assistant referees tomorrow are Trevor Massey (Cheshire) and Bob Pollock (Merseyside). The fourth official is Kevin Wright (Cambridge) who last refereed Burnley in November 2006, a 2-1 home defeat against Birmingham.
