Martin Paterson - back in the Northern Ireland squad
Martin Paterson played twice for Northern Ireland in September 2009 in their World Cup qualifiers against Poland and Slovakia, but because of the injury he sustained in the Carling Cup at Barnsley he hasn't featured since.

But he not gets the chance to return to international football after receiving a call up from Nigel Worthington for their friendly against Montenegro in Podgorica.

There is also an international return for Andre Bikey who was left out of the Cameroon squad for the World Cup Finals. He's in their squad for a friendly in Poland.

Both these games, as is the case with Scotland's in Stockholm, will be played next Wednesday, and that is 24 hours after Kevin McDonald and Brian Easton hope to be picking up Scotland Under-21 caps. Like the senior team they will be playing against Sweden with this game being played at St. Mirren.
