He polled almost half of the man of the match vote with 49.3% and that was a long way ahead of Joey Gudjonsson with 15.3% in what was the midfielder's first Premier League start of the season. Goalkeeper Brian Jensen came third with 10.0% of the vote.
Not only did Fletcher win the player ratings too, but it was the same top three. He won it with a rating of 6.59 out of 10. Gudjonsson's rating was 6.05 to give him second place and Jensen came third with a rating of 5.77 out of 10.
The six points won by Fletcher take him to joint third in the Player of the Year table whilst Jensen moves joint top with Andre Bikey courtesy of his two points. Joey gets four points, his first of the season.
