England under-21 calls for Burnley duo

But he's not been forgotten and neither has central defender Michael Keane with both of them called up for friendlies against Czech Republic and Germany.

The first of the two matches, against Czech Republic, will be in Prague against the hosts of this summer's finals and on Monday 30th March the opposition will be Germany at the Riverside Stadium at Middlesbrough.

Ings has already scored four goals at under-21 level since making his debut in October 2013 against San Marino, and two of those goals came against Portugal at Turf Moor back in November.

Keane has won 17 caps, and although some have come since he arrived at Burnley in September, they have all been as a Man United player. This is his first call up since committing himself to Burnley in the recent transfer window.
