Eighth cap for Cork as England go through

Jack Cork
As has been the case with his previous seven caps, this was again as a substitute and he came on in the 82nd minute of England's 0-0 draw, replacing Danny Rose, the Spurs player who is currently on loan at Bristol City.

It was, at times, a backs to the way performance for England who needed a draw to ensure their place in the finals next Summer in Denmark having won the home leg of this play off 2-1 at Norwich last Friday.

Cork was influential in those last few minutes and more than once brought England out of danger with some intelligent play, and now it looks as though he could have his summer booked as part of Stuart Pearce's squad for the European Under-21 Championship FInals.

England's team today was: Frank Fielding, Ryan Bertrand, Michael Mancienne, Tom Cleverley, Daniel Sturridge (Henri Lansbury 62), Danny Welbeck (Nathan Delfouneso 90), Phil Jones, Jordan Henderson, Danny Rose (Jack Cork 82), Fabrice Muamba. Subs not used: Scott Loach, Kyle Walker, Martin Kelly, Kieran Trippier.
