Duff free to play at Hull

Sean Dyche initially suggested on Saturday that we wouldn't appeal the card but when I got home from the game and saw the pictures on television I couldn't see any reason for not making an appeal. The decision from referee Jon Moss to send of Duff for denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity was, quite frankly, an absolute shocker.

Yesterday, the club confirmed that an appeal had been lodged and today it was confirmed that the red card had been rescinded by the independent regulatory commission meaning Duff will now be available for this Saturday's game at the KC Stadium.

Moss, who has controversially been awarded this season's FA Cup Final, will not be on duty this weekend other than acting as fourth official in Sunday's game between Chelsea and Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
