Paul Crichton
Although he wasn't called on, he was named as the substitute goalkeeper for Sheffield United at Hartlepool, a game they lost 2-0.

The Blades are Crichton's sixteenth club but it was October 2005 when he last made a league appearance, that for Gillingham in a 0-0 home draw against Yeovil.

He was most recently goalkeeper coach at Norwich, brought in by their former manager Bryan Gunn, but released by current boss Paul Lambert earlier this year.

It is now eight years since Crichton left the Clarets. He lost his place to Nik Michopoulos during the 2000/01 season and opted for a move to Norwich at the end of that season.
