Keane played the whole 90 minutes whilst Ings came on as a substitute after 62 minutes, replacing Fulham's Cauley Woodrow in a triple change.

The only goal of the game came two minutes into the second half from Tottenham's Tom Carroll, who is spending the season on loan at Swansea. He slotted him after the Czech Republic goalkeeper fumbled a cross.

The team tonight was: Marcus Bettinelli, Calum Chambers (Carl Jenkinson 61), Michael Keane, Liam Moore (John Stones 70), Matt Targett (Luke Garbutt ht), James Ward-Prowse, Tom Carroll (Will Hughes 53), Jake Forster-Caskey, Alex Pritchard (Jesse Lingard 61), Cauley Woodrow (Danny Ings 62), Nathan Redmond. The under-21s now travel home for next week's friendly against Germany which will be played at Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium.

At full international level there have been appearances for two former Burnley players tonight.

Gary Cahill was in the England team that had no problems in beating Lithuania 4-0 with goals from Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck, Raheem Sterling and substitute Harry Kane, just over a minute after coming on as a substitute on his debut.

David Edgar, who is currently on loan at Huddersfield from Birmingham, won his 27th cap for Canada tonight, lining up for a friendly against Guatemala in Fort Lauderdale, USA. Canada won the game 1-0 with a goal from Crewe striker Marcus Haber.
