Alan Mahon - will wear 18
Previously in pre-season games there have been no clues as to what the squad numbers would be but this time there was every indication that the players were wearing their allocated numbers

Jon Harley, James O'Connor, Andy Gray, Brian Jensen, Chris McCann and Kyle Lafferty are the six players to keep the same number as last season and most of the allocations are as expected with the defenders taking all of the numbers 2 to 6.

New goalkeeper Gabor Kiraly gets the number one vacated by Danny Coyne whilst Besart Berisha has 22, then number wore with Hamburg. The two more recent signings, Robbie Blake and Stephen Jordan have been given the numbers 20 and 23 respectively.

Stephen Foster, Steven Caldwell, Joey Gudjonsson and Ade Akinbiyi are the four players who have been given numbers in the first 11 having last season had higher numbers. Caldwell gets his favoured number 6, Akinbiyi will wear 9, whilst Foster and Gudjonsson have been given the numbers 2 and 8.

New professional Jay Rodriguez will wear the number 19 shirt vacated by John Spicer, he moves number 15, last worn by Graham Branch.
