Choose your best January goal

November/December winner Ashley Barnes

January proved to be Burnley's best month so far this season in terms of goalscoring with us netting ten times in six games against Newcastle, Tottenham, QPR and Crystal Palace.

Nine of those goals are available in the vote, the one missing being our first goal of 2015 which was a Paul Dummett own goal in the 3-3 draw at Newcastle.

The other two goals from that game come first starting with our second equaliser that day from Danny Ings with the back header from Michael Kightly's cross and then comes George Boyd's late equaliser when his cross shot went across the goalkeeper and into the far corner.

Sam Vokes came on to score his first goal since returning from injury to ensure a replay in the cup, scoring our goal in the 1-1 home draw against Spurs, then it was the two goals against QPR that brought us our only win so far this calendar year.

Scott Arfield got the first of them, nutmegging a couple of defenders before curling the ball home into the far corner and the second was from Ings, taking the ball from Ashley Barnes, getting a great first touch before eventually sliding it home with his left foot.

Marvin Sordell scored his first Burnley goal to open the scoring at Tottenham with Ross Wallace's deflected free kick giving us a 2-0 lead before falling to a 4-2 defeat, and it was similar in the next game when again we were 2-0 up in a game we eventually lost.

This time it was Crystal Palace. Ben Mee scored only his second goal to head home at the far post from a Kieran Trippier corner and then Ings scored his third in three league games, calmly slotting home past Julian Speroni after terrific work from Arfield to set up the chance.

With us failing to score at Sunderland, that was the last goal of the month and all nine goals are available in the vote which will run until the end of Saturday.

As always, you can vote from the front page of the site or the VOTING POLLS page.

The winner will automatically be entered into the goal of the season vote in May which already includes Wallace's free kick equaliser at Leicester and our goal at Tottenham in the league from Barnes.
