Carvalhal completes the set

Last updated : 01 July 2015 By Tony Scholes

Carvalhal, or Carlos Augusto Soares da Costa Faria Carvalhal, to give him his full name, will be working in England for the first time in his career but he certainly has plenty of experience having previously managed 14 other clubs, the most recent of them being Istanbul BB in 2012.

The 49-year-old Portuguese will bring three compatriots, Joao Mario, Joao Cunha and Bruno Lage, with him as part of his backroom team with Owls' chairman Dejphon Chansiri convinced this will be the blueprint for success.

The appointment completes the list of 24 managers/head coaches for next season's Championship although there could be another change with Neil Lennon, currently at Bolton, having been placed as favourite for the vacancy at Leicester.

That list of 24 managers, in which Sean Dyche is fourth, includes no fewer than ten who were in situ at the start of last season. It also includes four appointments made since the end of last season.
