Cameron Stewart on the move again

Last updated : 28 August 2015 By Tony Scholes

Stewart has been with Ipswich since the summer of last year but has failed to get into the first team and is still awaiting his debut, his only first team action coming in two substitute appearances in last season's FA Cup.

In search of football last season, he signed a loan deal with Barnsley for a month, during which time he made four League One appearances and now he's heading back to League One with Doncaster until 2nd January next year and will go straight into their squad for the game against Fleetwood tomorrow.

His loan at Burnley proved to be unsuccessful. He made his debut on 1st September 2012 in a 3-1 home defeat but it was one of only two starts which went alongside seven substitute appearances. His last appearance was as a sub for Brian Stock in the 4-0 defeat at Cardiff, Terry Pashley's last game in charge.

Doncaster will be his tenth club. Having started at Man United, he had loans with Yeovil and Hull before making his move to Hull a permanent one. While there he had loans with us, Blackburn, when he did a bit of badge kissing, Charlton and Leeds before signing for Ipswich, his current club and now loans with Barnsley and Doncaster.
