Michael Duff - one of three Clarets in the Northern Ireland squad
Michael Duff, Kyle Lafferty and new signing Steve Jones have all been named Lawrie Sanchez' squad and will fly out to Helsinki for the game which is scheduled for a week today, Wednesday 16th August.

Duff has won himself a place in the side recently and has started five times for his country since last October whilst Kyle twice came on as a substitute during their summer tour to America.

They were alongside Jones in both those games but he was still officially a Crewe player at the time and so will make his first international appearance as a Claret should he be involved next week.

It's not often we have three players in one international squad and it is almost forty years since three Burnley players were on the pitch together for one international side. That was also Northern Ireland when Alex Elder, Willie Irvine and Sammy Todd all lined up in a European Championships qualifier against England in Belfast in October 1966.
