Gray, who scored both goals in the victory, was a comfortable winner in both. He polled 51.2% of the man of the match vote, some way ahead of the midfield two of Barton and David Jones who finished second and third respectively with 16.0% and 10.5%. Michael Duff took fourth place with a 7.0% share of the vote.
Again it was Gray in the ratings. His 8.55 out of 10 was way ahead of Tom Heaton's 7.72 with the captain taking second place.
This time the third and fourth places went to the central midfielders. Barton was third with 7.68 and Jones took fourth place with a rating of 7.40 out of 10.
Gray, therefore, wins the maximum ten points towards the player of the year with Barton claiming five points. There were three each for Heaton and Jones with Duff securing one point.
It was close for the player of the month but Barton, with 24 points, won it ahead of Gray who won 22 points. Duff was third with 18, Heaton had 15 with both Scott Arfield and Jones in double figures with 11.
It's tightening up in the player of the year table too with Barton and Gray now moving into fifth and sixth places and it would not be a big surprise to see Gray, in particular, move even closer to the top once the voting is complete for the Fulham game.
