Cork, on this occasion, came on with twelve minutes remaining with England 1-0 up through a Danny Welbeck goal just past the hour.

Within a minute of coming on, England had doubled their lead with Aston Villa's Mark Albrighton scoring and the scoring was completed in stoppage time when Welbeck got his second.

Cork had replaced Chelsea's Daniel Sturridge and will now be hoping England, with the two wins this week, have done enough to qualify for the finals next summer.
