Andy Marriott
Marriott is now aged 39 and hasn't featured for the Grecians this season although he made no less than sixteen first team appearances during the 2009/10 season, his first in the Football League since playing for Boston in the 2006/07 season.

He signed for Exeter in the summer of 2007 and was a regular in the side that won their place back in the League in a year later. His opportunities in goal have been limited since but, besides the playing side, Marriott has also been employed by Exeter as General Manager working alongside team manager Paul Tisdale and director of football Steve Perryman.

However, his time at the real St. James' Park will come to an end at the end of the year when he takes up a new challenge with West Brom on 1st January 2011 as assistant to their sporting and technical director Dan Ashworth.

Tisdale said on confirming the news: "We are always sad to see a player leave us and Andy is no different. He's been a great asset to us, both in his role as general manager and also when called upon for the first team.

"Andy has always been a safe pair of hands and with more than twenty years of experience he's been fantastic in bringing on Paul Jones and Artur Krysiak's development here. It's no surprise to us that he's got a job at a Premier League club and I'm sure he will be a huge success there."

Exeter's sporting director Julian Tagg added: "Obviously as a club we are very disappointed to say goodbye to Mazza, he's been a great servant to us over the last three years.

"We couldn't stand in his way when the move to West Brom came up, it's a fantastic opportunity at a top flight club. Everyone associated with the club wishes him all the best in the future."

Marriott was with Burnley early in his career after being signed on loan by then manager Frank Casper. He went on to play fifteen times for us in the league in the season when we finally won promotion from the fourth division.
