Sinclair became manager of the club during last season and has moved to appoint his former Burnley team mate today. Ade will mainly be coaching the Bay strikers but will also play when required.

Speaking to the North Wales Weekly News, Sinclair said: "It is quite a coup for a club like Colwyn Bay to get him as he still has the ability to be a huge presence on the football field.

"I expect him to be a real handful for defences at our level and he will be a huge help to our other forwards both on and off the field."

Ade could make his Colwyn Bay debut against Chelsea, the last club he scored against for Burnley. They face a Chelsea XI this coming Saturday.

Another former Claret Wayne Thomas played for them on Tuesday against Wrexham but it was merely Sinclair allowing him to get some fitness as he searches for a new club.

He is not expected to play in this game although there is a place for Pascal Chimbonda. He played for Market Drayton in midweek and will now line up for Colwyn Bay as he too searches for a new club.
