Saturday's opening league fixture against Leeds at Elland Road will be refereed by select group referee Kevin Friend from Leicestershire. He refereed us three times last season; the home game against West Ham and then our two visits to Manchester against City and then United which was his last Burnley game.
We've got a second Leicestershire referee for the Capital One Cup tie at Vale Park in Trevor Kettle. It's somewhat longer since he refereed us; his last Burnley game was our 2-0 defeat at Southampton in February 2012.
