As we launch our next weekend away trip to London to coincide with the QPR game on the 15th November just a few words about our successful trip to Belfast.
Burnley played the seventh game of the pre-season against Glentoran at the Oval in Belfast, and here are some more photographs of the trip.
After a good start to our trip to Belfast we were soon ready for day two after enjoying a full Irish breakfast in the hotel. No black or white pudding but plenty of soda bread and potato bread to enjoy.
Scotland last week, and this week I was paying my first ever visit to Northern Ireland having been unable to make the pre-season tours in either 1996 or 1997, sadly missing the delights of Adrian Heath's super signing Bambo in the first of those two tours.
Twelve years ago while sitting in school, I was handed a sheet of paper on which the names David Eyres, Kurt Nogan and Torsten Boer were scrawled.
It was 76 days ago that I made the long journey to see us hammered at Crystal Palace, but today I was back watching the Clarets as we drew 1-1 against Queen of the South in the first of three games this week in Scotland.
Some 700 Burnley fans descended on Dumfries for the friendly against Queen of the South for what proved to be a good day out.
A goal from Joey Gudjonsson just before half time was enough to give the Clarets a 1-0 win at Firhill Park against Partick Thistle in our second of three games this week in Scotland.
Burnley fans moved up to Glasgow for the second of the three games in Scotland - and enjoyed a 1-0 win at Firhill against Partick Thistle.
Alex MacDonald turned away delighted two minutes from time after scoring his first ever first team goal and it ensured the Clarets would end their Scottish tour with a second successive win against St. Johnstone.
In dreary Maryhill, Glasgow sits Firhill stadium. A small compact ground which holds 13,300. I arrived early and was at the ground for 5.30pm by this time there were a few clarets fans dotted around in cars. I don't think I saw a home supporter till around 7p.m.
There were around 250 Burnley fans at McDiarmid Park last night for our friendly against St. Johnstone and here we have captured some of them.
Let me explain. It was just one of those moments when you have a revelation, you see the light, a magic moment occurs and you think this is what it's all about.
The Burnley squad were preparing for the first game on the American tour against the Carolina Railhawks and our man Ian Jagger, in his Clarets Mad registered car, was there to capture the day.
Let's get this straight I have seen many seasons where hopes have been falsely raised by a stellar preseason...I can remember for instance Wayne Biggins scoring two hat tricks in a week in the Lancs Manx Cup before the following season saw us seriously under whelm.
We've more photographs for you from Cary, this time from the day of the game and from the training session the day after.
A healthy crowd of 7,154 (double the normal league attendance) turned out on a warm summer's evening to watch Burnley beat Minnesota Thunder 2-0 at the National Sports Center (NSC) in Blaine, MN.
For two Burnley supporters Adam and Chris it was a game with a difference this week as they chose to fly to Minnesota for the game against Minnesota Thunder on Tuesday.
The weather was the only thing inside Dalymount Park last Friday with any real bite as Burnley and Bohemians played out a dour 0-0 draw.
Monday 4th February and I was still weighing up options of which local non-league game to take in twelve days later with Burnley's game against Coventry called off because of their FA Cup progress. Then suddenly I was planning a trip to Ireland.
Our Dublin flights were timed such that we had just about two full days in the Irish capital, although for one member of our party it was off north to take in the game between Ballymena and Linfield.
The Clarets are back in Austria and Clarets Mad are there this week for the two games.
The very British weather reared its ugly head again on Monday morning, a day that would finally see us reach Austria.
It is match day and as we meet friends Pete & Chris for a day out it is obviously so as claret and blue shirts dominate
It all started ever so well. The players mixed with the fans ahead of kick off and we all settled down for what we hoped would be a resounding win against substitute opponents Prefab Modelu.
