The Supporters' Club will be enjoying a two night stay when we play Portsmouth at Fratton Park in the Championship at the end of March.

It's a repeat of last season's weekend away although on this occasion the Supporters' Club officials will be hoping there's a game to take in. Last season they travelled down for the weekend in December with the game called off because of the weather conditions. At the time Burnley were struggling to win away from home so it was probably no surprise that they claimed the postponement at least ensured the weekend wasn't spoiled.

Back to this season and the coach will leave Turf Moor on Friday 30th March at 1 p.m. for the journey down to Portsmouth. The stay is at the Portsmouth Hilton and a three course dinner on the Friday night is included in the cost.

A hearty English breakfast will be available on the Saturday morning. The coach will then take those who wish down to the city centre and docks area of Portsmouth and will return to the hotel in good time to depart again at 2 p.m. for Fratton Park, returning to the hotel immediately after the game where again dinner is included.

Departure from the hotel on the Sunday is after breakfast. The coach will then begin its return to Burnley via the idyllic Cotswolds, stopping at Stratford-upon-Avon for tea before arriving back home at approximately 9 p.m.

The cost of the weekend is £160 per person based on sharing a twin/double room. There is a £40 supplement for single room occupancy. This includes the coach travel and hotel accommodation for two nights with dinner on Friday and Saturday and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.
