First Burnley game for Matt Lowton

We are playing Étoile Carouge, who play in Swiss 1. Liga Promotion which is the third level in Swiss football, in what Sean Dyche has said will be a low key affair with players not expected to play more than 45 minutes.

It brings to an end a short stay in Evian in France where the squad have been training and tonight's game will give those Burnley supporters who have travelled a first look at Matt Lowton.

Other than the three long term injuries - Kevin Long, Dean Marney and Ashley Barnes - all of the squad are expected to take part with the exception of Jelle Vossen as the club still await the international clearance from the Belgian FA.

Clarets Mad will have a report from the game, although it will be a few days before it is received, prior to the pre-season friendlies back home starting with Accrington next week.

The players expected to feature tonight are: Tom Heaton, Matt Lowton, Danny Lafferty, Michael Duff, Jason Shackell, Ben Mee, Sam Vokes, Michael Kightly, Alex Cisak, David Jones, Matt Taylor, Luke O'Neill, Marvin Sordell, Lukas Jutkiewicz, Fredrik Ulvestad, George Boyd, Matt Gilks, Stephen Ward, Michael Keane, Steven Hewitt, Tom Anderson, Scott Arfield and Cameron Dummigan.
