Dean Marney is a new injury worry for Burnley as they close in on automatic promotion.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche is sweating on the fitness of Dean Marney ahead of the potentially promotion-winning clash with QPR on Monday.

Marney limped out of last Friday's crucial win at Preston with what was believed to be a tight hamstring and the extent of his injury is still being assessed.

Dyche will hope to keep changes to a minimum as his side aim to complete an instant return to the Premier League if results elsewhere goes their way.

With Middlesbrough drawing at Birmingham last night, if Brighton draw or lose against Derby in the afternoon kick-off and then the Clarets do the business against Rangers they will secure promotion.

Jamie Mackie is QPR's only injury absentee.

The winger is still sidelined by the hamstring injury he suffered at Leeds earlier this month.

Young goalkeeper Matt Ingram is set to keep his place after impressing against Reading last weekend.

Teenage left-back Cole Kpekawa should also be involved again after an accomplished performance in his full league debut in the 1-1 draw with Reading.

It is worth a mention that the Clarets have organised a special FanZone which will be held ahead of Monday’s vital fixture with QPR.

The expanded FanZone will be open on the North car park from midday, and with the new introduction of a giant outdoor TV.

The Brighton v Derby County (2:30pm KO) game will be shown live on the Big Screen..

In addition to the current indoor bar, an outside bar – equal to the size of the current facility - will also be available, where six real ales from Worsthorne Brewery and Moorhouses will be on offer for £2.50 a pint.

As well as drinking beer and watching the action on the 5m x 3m giant rotatable screen, an array of food stalls will be available, such as;

•    Wood-fired pizza
•    Pulled pork sandwiches
•    Burger / Hotdog van

The club shop’s portable retail unit will also be on site, selling all adult replica shirts (both home and away) at a hugely discounted price of just £15.00

There will also be the following community department activities:

•    Speedometer inflatable.
•    Face paint.
•    Keepy-up challenge.
•  The chance to win two hospitality tickets to a game next season.

Fingers and toes crossed for a post-match promotion party? (TEC)
