We've been in terrific form and we want that to continue

Midfielder David Bell has been doing the talking for the Canaries, presumably he's not quite so sinister, and he's said they need to start taking their home form on the road.

"We need to pick up on our away form," he said. "Our home form's been okay this year but we need to get some away wins. We'll be looking to do that tomorrow. I think consistency is the main thing and we need to start getting more consistent away from home. It's away where we need to be more stable and if we can't win a game, we need not to lose it.

"We want to keep clean sheets away from home. We're looking forward to tomorrow and we'll try and win it. Burnley have started the season really well, they are a strong side and they were strong last year. We're a strong side too and we're going there tomorrow with a positive attitude that we can win.

"I've played at Turf Moor a couple of times, it's quite a tough place to go and they've got decent fans up there, but we're not going to worry about that. We're going to think about what we're going to do."

Owen Coyle has again been stressing how important a part the fans can play. "The atmosphere's been great, and I think that helps," he admitted. "We've got another home game now, we've been in terrific form and we want that to continue, to marry that up with the support with the fans who have been vocal and coming out in numbers.

"It certainly helps the players, and hopefully then the players help the fans. I think if we can marry that together it's a good balance, and it's certainly a springboard to keep going to win our home matches."

Coyle has some defensive problems but he added: "There's no easy game in this Championship, but all we can do is focus on Norwich. We'll look to see who we've got available and who we haven't, and pick the best team accordingly.

"Whether we change shape doesn't really matter. It'll be about the players, and those players have shown they want to do their very best for the football club. Robbie for one is desperate to be playing, which I love. If players weren't coming to me saying they want to be in the team, then I think we've got a real problem.

"But the fact that they all want to be in that starting eleven is great and as I've said to them, all they can keep doing when they get the opportunity is show it on the pitch and leave me with really tough decisions.

"Even aside from his goals, we know Robbie's a quality player and it is difficult to leave that type of player out of your team because you know what they can bring. But we have to get the balance of the right player for any particular game and Martin Paterson and Steven Thompson have been doing ever so well.

"Chris Eagles had to be patient, and he's been maybe fortuitous in terms of how we changed the system the other night. That allowed him to come in and play. What we do know is the opportunity is going to come around, and when it does you have to make sure you're at your best."
